Animais de estimação e pijamas irritam chineses...

Uma das coisas que mais aprecio e acho piada nos chineses é a sua despreocupação em relação ao que aparentam ser ou parecer. Já os vi fazer coisas que não vos passam pela cabeça. Coisas muito simples mas que estão totalmente desenquadradas com a realidade portuguesa.
Uma das situações mais comuns é cruzarmo-nos com chineses a passearem na rua, a andarem de mota, no supermercado a fazer compras... de pijama vestido!! No entanto, a situação mais caricata foi quando, às 9 da manhã, estava a ir para o escritório e me cruzei com um personagem a passear-se tranquilamente pela rua tal com veio ao mundo… apenas ‘protegido’ pela sua tanga!
Mas hoje fiquei a saber que também os chineses estranham este tipo de situações. Vejam o artigo que saiu hoje no Shanghai Daily…

Pets and pajamas found most irritating

"A RECENT survey about public behavior in the city found residents who wear pajamas in the street or raise pets that disturb neighbors' daily life are two of the most common irritations of Shanghai living.
The findings come from a survey of 1,800 residents in April and May by the Shanghai Women's Federation and Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.
It found 16.5 percent respondents admitted they often wear pajamas in public and 25 percent of interviewees said they sometimes will.
The pajama-wearing rate is almost the same as the previous year, said officials from the Women's Federation. That indicated the problem did not improve in the past year.
The survey found that pets are an emerging problem for neighborhoods.
More than 1 million local families raise pets including cats, dogs and pigeons. "But not all the owners control their pets well," said Wang Ling from the Women's Federation.
"The inconvenience pets caused including noise, sudden fright and random droppings."
Fifty-one-year-old Ruan Meiying living in Yangpu District said there is a big dog downstairs of her home.
"It always barks at midnight. My family members and I can hardly fall asleep every night."
The survey also showed good habits are gradually forming. Survey leaders found less jaywalking, more willingness of bus riders to give their seats to a needier person and less littering. The jaywalking rate in May 2005 was reduced by 68.2 percent compared with survey results from September 2004.
Eighty percent of interviewees gave their seats to senior citizens and disabled people in bus voluntarily.
Most residents are charitable, with 77 percent residents saying they donated money, books, clothes or other things in the past year."
